fall is in the air.

The burning question of the day.

Do you decorate your home for fall?

I do.  Throughout the coming weeks I will show just where in this home pumpkins are stashed.  I love them.  I love fall.  It is just peaceful.  It is a must to have some pumpkin scented candles burning every night.  For the love.  It just feels good.  This year my fall decorating was birthed with the smell.  What?  You heard me right.  One of my AMAZING neighbors gave me a fall scented oil stick in an outlet thing for my birthday.  Do you just love the terminology.  What is that thing called anyway?  The next weekend I was out buying pumpkins.

Check out Heather’s decorating here.

So come on put an end to the burning of the question.  Do you or don’t you?

dating my husband.

I was asked out on a date for tomorrow night. [insert hot date]  That is what our kids call our date nights.  Mom and Dad are going out on a hot date. Love it.

Here is the deal.

I am trying to think of something new to do.  Let’s pass up dinner and a movie.  Do you have any great ideas?  I am having an issue with feeling inspired.  If you live in Houston can you even suggest Restaurants and tell me what price range they are in.

If you help me gain inspiration I promise to share fun photos.

This is what we have been doing today.  What are you doing?

weekend plans.

  • Love a 12 hour car ride to Springfield, MO. The home of Aaron Burgee (former Bachelor), Brad Pitt, & Cashew Chicken
  • Get pumped and ready for this.
  • Get my haircut at the absolute best salon in the WORLD (formerly known as The Groove).
  • Meet up with some friends I don’t get to see often.
  • Nakato’s Japanese Steakhouse.
  • Finish reading this and then start this.
  • Watch lots of fireworks from the passenger side window.
  • Who knows we may even throw in a hot date. I am going to have great hair so I need to have a hot date. Don’t they go together? Yes.
  • Visit the first church we ever served with.  I can’t wait to see lots of familiar faces.  We were here when Colt was born.
