These two are high school sweethearts. Mike, Amy, Me & Ernest all went to high school together. Seriously. Amy is an awesome photographer and an equally amazing decorator. Check out her blog here. Today we had the opportunity to switch out some shots for Christmas Cards. It is so different to be in front of the camera. I REALLY love my place behind it.

I am so excited about the Holiday Season. Pumpkins, Turkey, Christmas, it is all so fun. It is a time to sit back and reflect on our year and give thanks for all the blessings and the growth.
I am also happy to announce that Debra Parker Design will be offering Holiday Mini Sessions. This is a great time to get a creative photo for your Christmas Card and or Gift Prints.

Holiday Mini Session
20-30 Minute session
Location: Midtown Area (great texture for interesting photos)
2-5 Images on CD with print release (for Christmas Cards) as well as an online Gallery for portrait orders.
Date: Saturday, November 1.
Time: 8am - Noon (in 30 minute increments)

up to 4 people. $10 per person above 4.

The burning question of the day.
Do you decorate your home for fall?
I do. Throughout the coming weeks I will show just where in this home pumpkins are stashed. I love them. I love fall. It is just peaceful. It is a must to have some pumpkin scented candles burning every night. For the love. It just feels good. This year my fall decorating was birthed with the smell. What? You heard me right. One of my AMAZING neighbors gave me a fall scented oil stick in an outlet thing for my birthday. Do you just love the terminology. What is that thing called anyway? The next weekend I was out buying pumpkins.

I am going to start a little OPAM fun over here at debra parker design. I wonder, is anyone willing to play along?
All you have to do is decide upon ONE project that you want/need to get done this month. It can be pretty much anything. We will post before, during and after photos. You can post on your blog and comment/link back here. Or you can post pictures in a comment. It will just be fun.
My October project = Photo Wall.
Not just any photo wall. Not a traditional photo wall. Not an amazing black frame with black and white photos photo wall. But a Debraized version of this. Today I plan to make a desktop folder and start adding “maybe” photos to it. I guess we can call this step 1.
