camp.

I am enjoying the sounds of rsband while I sit here and wait for the kids to fall asleep. We are at camp in Missouri. My purpose for this post is to say that I have no real phone or internet service out here. It is a miracle that my phone is allowing me these moments of service. I have a lot to share from adoption thoughts to the best salon experience ever. I posted some pics from our trip on flickr. I did that at Panera today until my time expired.

I already finished the book Sex God and am reading The Shack outloud to the fam as we ride. (how that happened is a long story) I am just wanting to read it further but I have to wait for them. Stinkage. I may start reading what Ernest brought along. The Gospel according to Tony Soprano by Chris Seay. Who knows? I am just not into the Mob.

I will stop rambling now.

goodnight.

Sex God

I just started Sex God by Rod Bell.

I am already intrigued. Here is just a small portion of what is stirring in my spirit.

When a human being is mistreated, objectified, or neglected, when they are treated as less than human, these actions are actions against God. Because how you treat the creation reflects how you feel about the Creator.

To be a Christian is to work for the new humanity. Jesus commands his followers to feed and clothe and visit and take care of those who need it. They’re fellow image-bearers, they’re just like us, and when we love them, we’re loving God.

Any thoughts?
